Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 c. cashew nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/2 soup can milk plus mushroom liquid
  • 1 small can chow mein noodles

Directions

    Saute the celery, onion and mushrooms in the oil for a few minutes.

    (Do not brown.)

    Add the liquid to the mushroom soup and stir until smooth.

    Combine all ingredients an blend thoroughly. Pour into a greased casserole and bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.
