- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in water.

2Heat to lukewarm:

3cottage cheese, sugar and butter.

4Combine softened yeast, cottage cheese, sugar, butter, salt, soda and egg.

5Add flour to form a stiff dough. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size.

6Stir dough down; turn into well-greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish.

7Let rise in a warm place.

8Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown.

9Brush with melted butter.
