- 1 1/4 lb. salt pork, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
- 3 large onions, diced
- 3 lb. catfish, precooked in pressure cooker for 1 1/2 hours at 10 lb. pressure (to soften bones)
- 5 large potatoes, diced
- 3 c. boiling water or use broth from catfish
- 4 tsp. salt
- 4 c. fresh milk
- 1 c. evaporated milk
