  • 3 or 4 fresh cucumbers
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. celery seed

Directions

    Slice all vegetables very thin.

    Sprinkle 1 big tablespoon of salt over vegetables.

    Set aside 1 or 2 hours.

    Drain off water. Mix 3/4 cup of sugar, vinegar and celery seed and pour over vegetables; refrigerate before eating.
