Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 c. cottage cheese (at room temperature)
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 2 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. cattail pollen

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix.

    Place in casserole and let rise in warm place until double in bulk.

    Knead down into a ball.

    Grease casserole dish well.

    Place ball of dough in casserole.

    Let rise until double in bulk and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
