Cauliflower Soup

  • 2 c. water
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. chicken bouillon (instant, not cubed)
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. half and half

Directions

    Bring two cups of water to a boil and place cauliflower, broken into flowerets, and onion in water and cook until tender. Place (including water) into blender and blend until smooth.

    Set aside.

    Mix butter and flour and mix in 1 cup water gradually. Heat until it starts to boil.

    Stir in blender mix and rest of ingredients, except cream.

    Heat until it just boils and add cream.

    Heat to serving temperature.
