- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 c. flour
- 6 large or 8 medium eggs
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. coconut extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together. Put aside.

2Melt butter; beat well with eggs.

3Mix in sugar, water, milk and rest of the ingredients.

4Blend with dry ingredients until smooth.

5Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch glass pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350°. Custard should be lightly brown and will set as it cools.
