- 4 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp. butter (45 ml)
- 6 c. chicken broth (1 1/2 L)
- 14 oz. can La Choy chop suey vegetables, rinsed and drained (420-g can)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1In saucepan, cook onions in butter for 5 minutes.

2Add 3 cups (750 ml) of the broth; simmer, covered, 15 minutes or until onions are tender.

3Stir in remaining broth and vegetables.

4Heat to serving temperature.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Ladle into soup bowls.
