- 4 c. celery, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 5 oz. can water chestnuts
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 c. pimiento
Directions

1Boil celery in salt water until crisp, about 8 minutes. Drain.

2Drain water chestnuts and slice.

3Mix with soup, celery and pimiento.

4Place in 1-quart casserole.

5Toss 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs with slivered almonds in 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole.

6Bake at 350°

7for 35 minutes.

8Can prepare celery ahead of time, all but baking.
