- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1 stick celery
- 10 fennel seeds
- 15 drops Tabasco
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Place all ingredients, except ground beef and oatmeal in blender.

2Blend well.

3Add blended ingredients to ground beef and oatmeal.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Shape into meatballs.

6Either fry in a small amount of shortening or bake for 35 to 45 minutes in a 375° oven.

7Meatballs may be served plain or served in a spaghetti sauce.

8Makes about 30 one-inch meatballs.
