Ingredients

  • 1 cinnamon stick 1.5 inch
  • 3 cardamom pods up to 4
  • 2 black pepper corns up to 3
  • 2 cloves up to 3
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon darjeeling tea leaves
  • 1 teaspoon spice mix Masala
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

    Grind cinnamon stick, cardamom, black pepper corns, and cloves to a powder. Stir in ground ginger.

    Combine water, sugar, tea and 1/4 teaspoon spice mix in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for one minute.

    Add milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes.

    Strain into a mug or teapot.
