Ingredients

  • 5 cups water Tea may boil down
  • 5 tea bags chai, Celestial Sweet Coconut Thai
  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 1 purple onion medium, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves smashed
  • 4 onion tops green, chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 4 ounces Philadelphia Pineapple Cream Cheese Spread
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

    In a pot bring water and tea bags to a boil.

    In a separate pot over medium heat add oil and rice until rice is toasted.

    Add both onions and garlic until softened. (Add more oil if needed)

    Add 4 cups of tea, coconut milk, salt, and red pepper flakes.

    Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer until liquid is absorbed.
