- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. tap hot water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in hot water.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Stir and then knead together.

4Let rise in extra greased bowl about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

5Also grease top of dough.

6Punch down, divide into 3 rolls (like clay snakes) and braid onto greased pan.

7Let rise again for 3/4 hour.

8Brush top with egg yolk.

9Bake in a preheated oven at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
