- 3 lb. pork roast
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
- 1 lb. pinto beans
- 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 pods garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 small onion, chopped
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in slow cooker, Dutch oven, etc.

2Cover with water (more water can be added during cooking, if needed). Cover and cook slowly for approximately 8 hours or longer.

3After 5 hours, remove roast, debone and shred meat.

4Return meat to pot and continue cooking.

5Serve with taco or Fritos chips, grated cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions and taco sauce.

6Also makes a great filling for burritos.
