  • 3 lb. pork roast, fat trimmed and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 lb. pinto beans, soaked in water overnight
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 can chopped green chilies
  • 1 jar mild chunky salsa
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Mix ingredients together and place in slow cooker.

    Cover with water (reduce water slightly if beans have been soaked overnight). Cook on high 5 hours.
