Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt/powder
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste or juice
  • 2 green peppers, cut in 1-inch strips
  • 2 onions, cut into 8 wedges
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Cut meat in 1-inch wide strips.

    Saute meat in butter and oil quickly.

    Take out; salt and pepper lightly.

    Saute mushrooms and add to meat.

    Saute onions and peppers 2 minutes.

    Add to meat. Add tomatoes, vinegar, soy sauce and tomato paste to pan and bring to a boil.

    Pour over meat.

    Toss lightly.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
