- 2 cups almonds or 2 cups slivered almonds
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 2 teaspoons corn syrup
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
Directions

1If using whole almonds; In a bowl, cover almonds with boiling water, and let them stand for 2 minutes.

2Drain and skin.

3If using slivered almonds, skip this step.

4In a food prcessor, grind the almonds until fine.

5Add sugar, and process until blended.

6Add extract and corn syrup, combine.

7With motor running, add in enough egg white to keep it all together tightly when pressed.

8Wrap in plastic and place in a zipper bag, refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
