- 6 slices Bacon, Diced
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 12 ounces, fluid Amber Ale
- 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Cubed
- 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoons Hot Sauce
- 1 dash Salt And Pepper, to taste
Directions

1In a large pan over medium heat, cook bacon until browned and crispy.

2Remove from pan and place on paper towels.

3Leave a couple tablespoons of bacon fat behind.

4Stir in flour and cook for about 1 minute.

5Whisk in beer.

6Cook until it starts to thicken, stirring occasionally.

7Whisk in mustard.

8Turn heat down to low.

9Mix in cream cheese.

10Add cheddar cheese a handful at a time.

11Stir until cheeses are melted and dip is hot.

12Stir in hot sauce and salt and pepper.

13Place in a crock pot to keep warm for a party.

14Or place in the fridge and reheat when ready to serve.
