  • 2 cups diced peeled potatoes
  • 2 cups water
  • 12 cup sliced carrot
  • 14 cup chopped onion
  • 14 cup butter, cubed
  • 14 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 14-12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 12 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed

    In a large saucepan, combine the potatoes, water, carrot, and onion.
