Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 6 or 8 oz. Blue cheese or Roquefort
  • 2 (5 oz.) jars Cheddar cheese spread
  • 3 or 4 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped parsley

Directions

    Have cheeses at room temperature and mix together with pastry blender or mixer at low speed.

    When smooth, add onion, Worcestershire sauce and monosodium glutamate.

    Mix well. Shape into a ball, roll in pecans and parsley.

    Chill overnight.

    To serve, surround with collar of greens interspersed with cranberries.
