  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 c. White Lily plain flour
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • pinch of salt
  • pecan halves

    Cream butter and cheese.

    Add flour.

    Blend and form.

    Roll out; then cut with a small round cutter.

    (I use a shot glass.) Place pecan half on each biscuit.

    Bake slowly at 325° until golden.

    Take up and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
