  • 10 oz. extra sharp Kraft Cracker Barrel cheese (red package)
  • 2 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • pecan halves

    Use a hand mixer for this recipe.

    Allow time for cheese and butter to soften.

    Cream together cheese and butter, then gradually add flour and mix thoroughly.

    Put in refrigerator for about an hour.

    Dust hands with flour and roll dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

    Press pecan half in center of each cheese ball.

    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 325°. Do not brown.

    Makes approximately 5 dozen.
