- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
Directions

1Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add cheese, beating well.

2Combine flour, salt and red pepper; gradually add to cheese mixture, mixing well.

3Cover and chill 1 hour.

4Roll dough into 3/4-inch balls.

5Place on baking sheets and freeze until firm.

6Place in airtight container and put in freezer.

7To serve, place frozen cheese balls on a baking sheet; bake at 400° for about 14 minutes.
