- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sharp cheese, grated
Directions

1In large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add shortening, sugar, salt and 2 cups of the flour.

3Blend 1/2 minute on low speed.

4Scrape bowl constantly.

5Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Stir in the remaining flour and cheese.

6Scrape batter down. Cover bowl, let rise until double (approximately 30 minutes).
