  • 2 lb. carrots, sliced, boiled and drained (set aside)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 pods garlic, grated
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • salt and red pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Melt butter and saute onion, garlic and bell pepper, then add milk, flour, celery seed, mustard, salt and pepper.

    Layer carrots, grated cheese and white sauce.

    Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.

    Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes.
