- 2 lb. carrots, sliced, boiled and drained (set aside)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 grated onion
- 2 pods garlic, grated
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- salt and red pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Melt butter and saute onion, garlic and bell pepper, then add milk, flour, celery seed, mustard, salt and pepper.

2Layer carrots, grated cheese and white sauce.

3Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.

4Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes.
