  • 2 medium (2 c.) potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium (1/2 c.) carrot, sliced
  • 1 stalk (1/2 c.) celery, sliced
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

    In 4-quart saucepan, over high heat, heat to boiling first 6 ingredients and 2 cups water.

    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

    Do not drain.
