- FOR THE CRUST:
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 3/4 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Cold Butter Cubed
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Flaked Coconut
- 1/2 cups Chopped Pecans
- 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips

11. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

22. In a large bowl, combine the flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pan from the oven and allow the crust to cool slightly.

33. In a small bowl beat egg, brown sugar, vanilla, and baking powder until blended. Stir in coconut and pecans. Spread this mixture over the crust and top with chocolate chips. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pan from the oven and set it on a wire rack. Cut into bars once cooled.
