- 1 c. flour
- 1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine
- 1 c. cottage cheese, divided
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1In medium bowl mix together flour, margarine, salt and 1/2 cup cottage cheese.

2I find this works best when I mix with my hands. (There will still be small lumps from the cheese.)

3Chill several hours up to several days.

4Divide dough into thirds.

5On lightly floured surface, roll each third into a 10-inch circle about 1/8-inch thick.

6Mix well remaining 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and egg.

7(Again, there will still be some lumps.)

8Spread 1/3 of this mixture on each circle.

9Cut into 8 wedges.

10Starting from wide end, roll up each wedge.

11Place on greased baking sheet.

12Bake on top rack of preheated 400° oven for 18 to 20 minutes until golden. Remove to racks to cool.
