- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. grated sharp cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Cut 2 slices of bread across in an X, making 8 small triangles.

2Butter lightly.

3Butter the remaining bread, then cut into neat cubes.

4You should have about 4 cups.

5Place a layer of bread cubes in a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.

6Sprinkle with cheese.

7Repeat with cubes, then again cheese.

8You should have enough for 2 or 3 layers.
