- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. quick grits (not instant)
- 1 (6 oz.) roll garlic cheese
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 egg
- milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease 9 x 9-inch baking dish or spray with Pam.

3Bring salted water to boil.

4Slowly add grits, stirring constantly.

5Return to boil.

6Reduce heat and cook 3 to 5 minutes, until thick, stirring occasionally.

7Remove from heat and add garlic cheese (which has been sliced to melt faster) and margarine.

8Stir until both are melted.
