- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 or 2 drops bottled liquid red pepper seasoning
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking grits
- 6 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Beat and set aside the first 4 ingredients.

2Combine in a saucepan the grits, water and butter/margarine.

3Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.

4Mix the hot gris with the Cheddar cheese. Stir in egg mixture, mixing well.

5Turn into greased 3-quart baking dish.

6Bake in low oven at 330° for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.

7Makes 8 servings.
