  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • pecan halves

Directions

    Mix brown sugar and water in pan on low heat until sugar is dissolved. Boil 3 minutes.

    Mix this mixture slowly into well beaten eggs. Add margarine and vanilla.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Lay pecan halves on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
