  • 1 3/4 c. quick cooking grits
  • 6 c. hot water
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 to 1/2 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 lb. grated Velveeta cheese
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • paprika

Directions

    Cook grits in hot water according to package directions. When grits are cooked, add margarine and cheese.

    Cook slowly until melted. Remove from heat and add remainder of ingredients. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 1 hour at 250°, uncovered. Serves 8.
