- 3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 lb. margarine (room temperature)
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/4 tsp. powdered red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Directions

1Blend cheese and margarine.

2Add flour, pepper and mustard. Mix by hand, kneading into firm ball.

3Add pecans and cereal. Blend well.

4Roll into small balls and flatten on a well-greased, floured baking pan.

5Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes or until firm and lightly brown around edges.

6Makes about 7 dozen.

7Will keep for several weeks.
