- 13 cup butter
- 13 cup flour
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 12 cups milk
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup smoked gouda cheese, shredded
- 1 cup apple cider
Directions

1Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat; stir in the flour and salt.

2Gradually stir in the milk; cook, stirring all the while, until thickened.

3Gradually stir in the cheese, stirring until melted.

4Add juice; heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally.

5Makes four 1 1/4 cup servings.
