  • 1 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese (sharp)
  • 10 slices bread, buttered and cut in cubes
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • dash of cayenne pepper
  • dash of Worcesterhsire sauce

Directions

    Alternate layers of bread and cheese in a greased casserole dish.

    Mix milk, mustard, salt, pepper and Worcestershire and add to eggs.

    Mix well and pour over bread and cheese.

    Let stand several hours or overnight (can stand 2 nights in refrigerator).
