- 6 to 8 medium potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- 1/4 stick oleo
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 16 oz. Velveeta cheese
Directions

1Peel and dice potatoes and onions.

2Place in saucepan and add enough water to completely cover by 1/2-inch.

3Bring to a slow boil and cook until done.

4Add butter and seasonings.

5If soup is thin, you can add a small amount of instant potatoes.

6When all is blended, add cheese, which has been cut in small pieces.
