- 6 medium potatoes
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook potatoes and shred.

2In saucepan over low heat combine cheese and 1/4 cup butter.

3Stir occasionally until almost melted. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream, onions, salt and pepper.

4Add to potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

5Dot with butter.

6Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
