- 6 medium potatoes
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- salt to taste
- 1 onion, cut in rings (optional)
Directions

1Clean and cut potatoes in thin slices.

2Boil potatoes about 5 minutes to partially cook.

3Melt butter over medium heat and blend in flour and salt.

4Add milk slowly.

5Cook until smooth and boiling.
