- 2 bacon slices
- 1 c. thinly sliced onion
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1/3 c. Post Grape-Nuts cereal
- 1 lightly baked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Drain and crumble.

3Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings.

4Saute onion in reserved bacon drippings until tender and lightly browned.

5Combine eggs, milk, cheese, salt, pepper and cereal.

6Stir in onion and bacon.

7Pour into pie shell.

8Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

9Reduce temperature to 350° and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.
