  • 1 lb. aged Cheddar cheese spread
  • 2 green peppers, seeds removed
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (7 oz.) can tuna, drained
  • 1 pt. stuffed olives, chopped
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 18 to 24 hard French rolls

Directions

    Chop cheese, peppers, onions and tuna real fine.

    Add olives, butter and tomato sauce and mix.

    Cut off tops of rolls and remove centers.

    Fill with mixture and wrap each roll in heavy waxed paper.

    Twist ends securely, place in paper bag and heat in slow oven (300°) for 20 minutes.

    Serve at once.
