  • 2 slices American or Cheddar cheese (large enough to cover bread slices)
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 2 thin slices onion
  • sprinkling of oregano and/or dill
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 2 slices white or whole wheat bread
  • 2 tsp. butter

Directions

    Spread half of the butter on one side of a slice of bread. Place buttered side down in skillet.

    Place a slice of cheese on the bread, then add tomato, onion, oregano/dill, salt and pepper. Add the second slice of cheese.
