- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 lb. sharp cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 3/4 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Cream butter and cheese.

2Add egg and water.

3Beat; sift flour, salt, cayenne and paprika.

4Add dry ingredients to mixture; beat well after each.

5Chill dough for 10 minutes.

6Pack into pastry press; squeeze shapes onto baking sheet.

7Bake 18 to 20 minutes in 350° oven.
