  • 1 lb. margarine, softened
  • 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions

    Cream butter and cheese; add flour, salt, red pepper and paprika.

    Mix well.

    Shape dough into 4 rolls (1-inch in diameter).

    Wrap each roll in foil.

    Refrigerate for 24 hours. Slice rolls 1/4-inch thick and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

    Yields 16 dozen.

    Dough or wafers, after baking, may be frozen!
