- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 6 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix cream cheese with 1/3 cup sugar and one egg until light and fluffy.

2Set aside.

3Cream margarine with remaining sugar; then beat in two eggs, one at a time, until light and fluffy; then add cocoa.

4Stir in a mixture of flour, baking powder and salt until blended.

5Add vanilla.

6Spoon half chocolate mixture into greased 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.

7Spoon cheese mixture over chocolate layer.

8Add remaining chocolate by teaspoonfuls to cover cream cheese, spreading carefully.

9Bake at 350F.

10for about 30 to 40 minutes depending on size of pan.
