Cheesy Cabbage Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • boiling water
  • 8 large cabbage leaves
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Pour boiling water over cabbage leaves to cover; allow to stand for 10 minutes.

    Combine ground chuck, 1 cup cheese, corn, onion, salt and pepper, just until blended.

    Remove cabbage leaves from water.

    Place 2/3 cup of meat mixture in each leaf, fold in sides and roll lengthwise.

    Fasten with wood toothpicks.
