  • 2/3 c. Velveeta cheese
  • 3 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 lb. margarine or butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pt. half and half
  • 2 1/2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes

    Put all ingredients, except potatoes, in blender.

    Blend until smooth.

    Place potatoes in 12 x 15-inch casserole.

    Break up and smooth evenly.

    Pour cheese mixture over potatoes.

    Do not stir.

    Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350°.
