Cheesy Stuffed Shells

  • 8 ounces, weight Jumbo Shell Pasta
  • 15 ounces, weight Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce

Directions

    In a large pot of boiling water, cook shells according to package instructions for al dente.

    When done, drain and rinse the shells under cool water to stop the cooking process.

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

    Mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, nutmeg and egg in a medium bowl.

    Stuff each shell with about 3 tablespoons of filling, until full.

    Spread 1 1/2 cups of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.

    Place each stuffed shell on top of the marinara.

    Cover the shells with the remaining 1/2 cup marinara to keep the shells moist while baking.

    Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes.
