Ingredients: 1 pkg. yellow cake mix; 2 Tbsp. oil; 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened (16 oz.); 1/2 c. sugar; 4 eggs; 1 1/2 c. milk; 2 Tbsp. lemon juice; 1/2 tsp. almond extract; 1 can cherry pie filling

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 Tbsp. oil
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened (16 oz.)
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 can cherry pie filling

Reserve 1 cup dry cake mix; set aside.

Mix 1 egg and 2 tablespoons oil with remaining cake mix.

Put into 9 x 13-inch pan for crust.

Mix cream cheese, sugar and remaining eggs in a bowl. Add reserved (1 cup) cake mix.

Beat 1 minute at medium speed.

Add milk, lemon juice and extract.

Beat at low speed and pour over crust.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 300°.

Top with cherries and refrigerate.
