  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups fresh, pitted cherries
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a few small drops of white truffle oil
